2008 was a rough year for me. I lost a lot of things in my life that I thought were pretty important to me. Many times I wondered why I was still pushing forward to live another day. Losing my dream job. Losing many people I thought were my true friends. Losing a couple close folks to untimely deaths and of course spending a lot of time in prayer hoping that Lionel made it through the cancer he faced.
I however, found some new things that have re-engergized me into truly looking forward to 2009. I will be having surgery in the next 60 days finally after years of various delays and get to live again and enjoy life. I am continuing to love all the various off road racing venues that I get to participate in and dedicated to making racers safe, or as safe as they can be when they do crazy things. I have a new job that I am still learning and meeting some great people and learning new skills.
I sincerely hope everyone has a great 2009 for you and your families. I wish I could spend more time with all of you and even just get to meet the many that have stepped up to fill rolls that others before you filled.
