Couple days left - I can't wait for Laughlin 09 -

Laughlin is the best off road race of the year for me. Lots of action. Lots of great teams. Going to be fun. See you all there.

Hey RDC,
Thanks everyone for the kind words. It was a violent crash and thankfully Brent and I are fine, a little sore, but fine. I want to clear up a few things said in another thread.

First, the safety crew did a heck of a job, thank you. They were to us in seconds and made sure we were okay. They righted the truck per my request, they did make me aware of the fuel, but I had killed all the power and felt it would be quicker to get out once up right if needed. In hindsight, we should have gotten out ASAP. I thought we could still race..go figure.

Second, The fuel cell did NOT rupture. We hit so hard on the tail on the first flip that it packed the dirt and rocks into the dry brake, holding the valve open.

Third, Yes the jump was groomed/change Saturday night. I had pinned that jump on both Friday and Saturday, but its still my fault, I had the controls, we read terrain constantly in the desert, but I never even looked at that jump, I was looking at the next one. Nobody was more surprised than me when the back came over. Lessen learned.

Mirage and Jimco are putting Humpty Dumpty (TT35) back together and we'll go at it again in San Felipe.

Thanks again to everyone who wrote and called,

Robbie
